ENCOUNTER RETREAT An “Encounter” is a dramatic experience that completely changes
the course of our lives. There are encounters that change the course
of our lives, for example and encounter with the person we fall in love
with. There are also encounters of entering into a university or a lucrative
job or business, etc. But the most important encounter is the one with
the Living God! Matthew 16:26 says, “What good will it be for a
man, if he gains the whole world, yet forfeits his soul?”
An “Encounter Retreat” unites a
series of life’s experiences and personal teachings that result
in a visible and tangible change in the lives of all who have a personal
encounter with God. It offers people the necessary environment and
opportunities to discover a vital way to establish their relationship
with God, to have direct fellowship with Him, and to commit to His
Lordship. Participants are taught the claims of the Gospel, and they
are given an opportunity to experience forgiveness of sin, deliverance
from bondages, emotional and physical healing, and restoration of
worth and value. They receive the blessings of a covenant relationship
with God and His family through communion and the infilling of the
Holy Spirit.
