99 Days To Pentecost - Bible Reading Plan Introduction
Dear Church of Southland,
As we have been exhorted to abide in Christ and His words, letting the words of Christ prune us for greater fruitfulness, our church will launch a daily bible reading plan called 99 days to Pentecost. Starting on February 14, in preparation to celebrate Pentecost, we will read/meditate one chapter a day. Along with the daily readings will come a brief devotional thought from our COS pastoral staff. We invite you to join us as we head into Pentecost by abiding in Jesus’ words together!
John 15:4
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
“As we celebrate our 20 year anniversary, for us to be blessed the next 20 years, we must remain in Jesus, our beliefs and world views must be challenged and changed by the words of God.” Pastor Keith Park
