99 Days to Pentecost: Day 59

Day 59 - April 13, 2021

Hebrews 6:19-20 (Read Full Chapter)
“This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and reliable and one which enters within the veil, 20 where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, having become a high priest forever according to the order of Melchizedek.”

“Unfailing Hope”
Written by Pastor John Lee

Do you have 100% confidence in God’s promises? I’m not talking about 99.9% Lysol level effectiveness, but 100% assurance, confidence, and reliance on God’s plan. Did you know that we can have this kind of confidence?

Hebrews 6:19 explicitly talks about a hope that becomes an anchor to our soul – sure and reliable. And the writer testifies to this truth in verses 13-18. God not only made a promise but also backed His promise with His own name.

Therefore the hope of God’s given promise rests on His character. He will not fail us because He cannot fail Himself – in addition to the fact that He will never fail.

May we then continue to be diligent to pray to live within His promise and hope. How could this hope and confidence affect your life today?

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for securing me in Your promise and hope. May this truth become my strength as I rest in Your character and nature. Help me to be diligent to live in Your promise and hope. Guide me and strengthen me to obey Your ways. In the precious name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
