“When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all together in one place. And suddenly a noise like a violent rushing wind came from heaven, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting.”

Following Jesus’ ascension and promise, the disciples developed a rhythm of gathering together to pray. We see at the beginning of this chapter they are once again together in one place. Then the outpouring of the Holy Spirit occurs. Their ordinary, regular discipline of gathering became the setting for where God fulfilled His promise of sending the Helper.
Are you having a hard time maintaining a regular time of meeting with the Lord? Know that “just another day of doing my QTs” may become the place in which God’s glory is made manifest in your life.
