“In regard to all the things of which I am accused by the Jews, I consider myself fortunate, King Agrippa, that I am about to make my defense before you today;"

Paul finally gets his day in court. And when he does, he does not necessarily defend himself to the king, he shares his testimony and preaches the Gospel (v. 4-23). In these verses, Paul shares his marvelous journey from the darkness into the light. In the face of possible death, Paul is true to his calling. His life and his focus is so single-minded he takes every opportunity to share the Gospel.
What a great picture of what it is to live out the calling in all of our lives. We are called to know God and make Him known. Paul truly understood this. So instead of begging for his life, Paul told his story and through his story, shared the Gospel.
