Day 96 – May 20, 2021

Acts 25:10 (Read Full Passage)
But Paul said, “I am standing before Caesar’s tribunal, where I ought to be tried. I have done no wrong to the Jews, as you also very well know.

“Confidence in the Truth”
Written by Pastor Joe Suh

Here, Paul knows the truth of his actions. He knows he has done nothing wrong. So for him, standing trial for spreading the Gospel is not something he fears. Regardless of who hears the case, where it is held, or even what the outcome will be, Paul has confidence in the truth. Only God has the authority to judge him, not man.

What is the truth? The Gospel message is Truth! There is nothing that man can do to stop Paul from living out his calling. There is a boldness and passion in Paul about spreading Gospel. He was on trial for his life, and yet, because he understood he was living for something much bigger, he faced any and all opposition confidently. Having confidence about what we know and believe gives us the freedom to live boldly and without fear.

Take time to reread Acts 25 and prayerfully reflect on God’s Word to you through this chapter.
