99 Days to Pentecost: Day 89

Day 89 – May 13, 2021

Acts 18:24-27 (Read Full Chapter)
“Now a Jew named Apollos, an Alexandrian by birth, an eloquent man, came to Ephesus; and he was proficient in the Scriptures…when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained the way of God more accurately to him…when he had arrived, he greatly helped those who had believed through grace…”

“Together & Not Alone”
Written by Pastor John Lee

Can you believe that we hosted Alpha exactly two years ago from today? We had over 700 participants with more than 200 guests across 99 homes for people to come and know Jesus! These groups invited friends, co-workers, and strangers which led many to committing their lives to Jesus.

God calls us to actively take part in ministry together and not alone. In Acts 18, we see Paul working with Priscilla and Aquila, Silas and Timothy preaching alongside Paul, Titius Justus - a new believer - opening his home to host worship meetings, and Apollo receiving training from Priscilla and Aquila.

Likewise, our cell groups continue this same ministry - a place where we can minister to one another and invite others to come and experience God’s profound love. As the cell season wraps up may we find opportunities to minister together!

Take time to reread Acts 18 and prayerfully reflect on God’s Word to you through this chapter.
